popular Piano Quartet in g minor performed by favorite CCMF artists
Catherine French, Amadi Azikiwe, Jennifer Lucht, and Melvin Chen.

Virtuosity and lush sonorities
soar through the air in a concert event featuring string instruments of
all shapes and sizes. World-class instrumentalists perform Dvorak’s
joyful String Quintet, Op. 77
for string quartet and double bass, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer
Melinda Wagner joins CCMF for the North Carolina premiere of Pan Journal for harp and string
quartet. Audiences are invited to meet the artists at a post-concert
reception.

The dynamic Larkspur Trio
(flute, viola, harp) performs an afternoon recital of works ranging
from colorful favorites by French masters Ravel and Faure to the
sweeping atmospheric charm of English composer Arnold Bax. The program
will include a special performance of the Bax Elegiac Trio, in remembrance of the
victims of September 11th. Audiences
