The acclaimed Calyx Piano Trio returns to open CCMF's
seventh season with a musical feast! Audiences are invited to enjoy the
event from standard audience seating, or bring a lunch to enjoy at
table seating.

The Calyx Piano Trio
joins forces with St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Principal Clarinetist
Scott Andrews in a varied
program ranging from Bartok to Brahms. Join
Artistic Director Anna Reinersman for a pre-performance discussion of
the evening's musical selections.
Audiences are invited to meet the
artists at a post-concert reception.

A Festive Family Concert
Sunday, September 13, 3 p.m.

Library, 400 Johnson Street
The Festival presents a festive
and informal afternoon family concert full of discovery and adventure
for kids of all ages. This interactive program features local
youth talents performing on string and percussion instruments alongside
CCMF artists. Refreshments will be served.

Street
Join CCMF musicians and radio
personality Finley Woolston of Public Radio East for the perfect way to
end the day. The Festival presents a program of French music featuring
Faure's Piano Quartet in c minor
performed by popular returning artists violinist Catherine French,
violist Amadi Azikiwe, cellist Jennifer Lucht, and pianist Melvin Chen.
Audiences will also be treated to several of Faure’s charming character
pieces for voice, oboe, and harp.

Season seven comes to a dynamic
close in a program featuring Mozart's Oboe
Quartet with Shea Scruggs, Assistant Principal Oboist of the
Baltimore Symphony, Smetana's stirring String Quartet No. 1, "From My Life", and the
world premiere of Mad Scene (from
The Ghost Train)
for mezzo-soprano, harp, oboe and strings written especially
for the Festival by innovative composer Paul Crabtree.
Audiences are invited to meet the artists at a post-concert reception.

- A three-concert Festival Pass covering admission to Calyx
and Friends, Faure After Work, and the Festival Finale is available for
a reduced price of $50 general admission and $40 student/senior.
